Private chapel.
Please note the the 'reversed' curve in the
small square right above the golden circle.
This is a 'spyhole' used in ancient times spy
on what was going on inside the chapel.
At the time of our visit it had been reversed
by mistake, thus exposing the trick.
Most frescoes are in good shape and can be restored
Cappella privata, tuttora consacrata.
Si noti la curvatura inversa del riquadro sovrastante il cerchio dorato.
Si tratta di uno spioncino attrraverso il quale, in tempi antica,
si spiava quanto succedeva nella cappella.
Durante la nostra visita lo spioncino era stato riposto
al contrario per errore, rivelando in questo modo il trucco.
Quasi tutti gli affreschi possono essere restaurati
